Our Peaceful At-Home Euthanasia brings comfort and tenderness to a profoundly personal event. Our Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Veterinarian (CPEV) guides your beloved pet through their final transition with dignity and love, right where they feel most at ease. We also offer complimentary keepsakes including a clay paw print and a lock of fur (glass jar, gold frame, or card option) to help you remember your companion. In this sacred space, you can say farewell, celebrating the bond you shared. Reach out to us for a serene, compassionate goodbye that honors your deep connection.
Before the euthanasia process begins, we will take the time to address any questions or concerns you may have about your pet and the procedure, ensuring you feel comfortable with each step. Once you’re ready to proceed, your pet will be given a gentle sedative by injection, which will take approximately 5-15 minutes to take effect, allowing them to relax deeply. Afterward, a second injection will be administered, which will quickly and peacefully stop their heart. This process is both painless and serene, providing a dignified transition for your beloved pet.
We also offer optional personalized farewell ceremonies to give mourning families additional opportunities to say goodbye and further memorialize their pets lives, ensuring that you can honor your pet's memory in a way that feels meaningful to you. Please see Farewell Ceremonies for additional information and pricing.
After you've said your final farewell, our compassionate team will carefully transport your pet's remains to the crematorium for private or communal cremation. Alternatively, you may choose to handle your pet’s remains personally, should you prefer. Please be sure to consider local ordinances when making this decision.
