Cremation Options

We offer two cremation options to honor your pet’s memory: Private cremation and Communal cremation.  

All pets are handled with the utmost care and dignity, offering careful transport to the crematorium. We understand that pets are more than companions—they are family. That’s why we provide care marked by kindness, dignity, and deep respect. We make every effort to avoid using freezers and plastic bags, as we believe every pet deserves to be treated with greater care.

Private cremation is when your pet is cremated alone and your pet’s ashes are returned to you in a selected urn, along with a treasured ink paw print keepsake. Your pet will be cared for consciously and gently and within a week, their ashes will be available for pickup at your regular veterinarian, delivered to your home for an additional fee, or picked up at your convenience from the West Coast Pet Memorial Facility:

Communal cremation pets are respectfully cremated together and ashes are not returned to you, but released in a sacred ceremony in the serene Arizona desert. Oceansoflove

For communal cremations, pets are cremated with others in a respectful and loving process. In this case, ashes are not returned. Instead, they are gently released together into the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego—a peaceful, eco-friendly tribute known as Oceans of Love. Every step is taken with care for the environment and compassion for your cherished companion.
